The RACI Matrix makes clear, for each deliverable or activity, who does the work (R), who answers for the result (A), who is consulted (C) and who is informed (I). The Check column flags a row with no A, more than one A or no R, and the Workload tab counts how many times each person appears, to show overload. R means responsible for executing the work.

How to Use This RACI Matrix Template (PMBOK 8)

1. Replace the header names (Ann, Ben…) with the project's people or roles.
2. List the deliverables or activities (use the WBS code) and mark R, A, C or I for each person.
3. Each row needs exactly one A and at least one R. If the same person is both A and R, use A/R.
4. Watch the Check column until every row says OK; then look at the Workload tab.
5. The first three rows are examples: delete them.
