How to Use This Executive Summary Template (PMBOK 8)

1. Fill in the Executive Summary tab — and only that one.
2. If it does not fit on one screen, cut. The one-page discipline is what gets this document read.
3. Ask for at most 3 decisions. More than that becomes a meeting, not a summary.
4. 'Value delivered' is not schedule %: it is the benefit already in someone's hands. PMBOK 8 asks for a focus on value.
